Established in the year 1995, in Mumbai, India, we at ‘Commercial Body Systems’ are devoted towards manufacturing and supplying the finest range of fittings for enclosures & cabinets, commercial vehicle bodies, cold storage rooms & associated industries across the globe.
“Commercial Body Systems” is an industrial company based in Mumbai, India with more than 25 years of experience in the design, manufacturing & supply of hardware accessories & solutions for commercial body builders & other industrial applications across the globe.
The company was set up by our present Director Mr Sudhir Amlani, in 1995 in Mumbai, India as a hardware trading firm. It initially carried out trade and supply of industrial hardware and fasteners. The owner’s interest was gradually drawn towards some of the evolving bodywork hardware range & its demand in the local as well as the international market. This underlined the transition from a local hardware trading firm to a bodywork hardware oriented workshop of 1200 sq.ft in 2007. The initial production of hinges and door catchers were partly outsourced to other workshops specialized in forming and sheet metal components. The success of this model, along with the growing demand of the temperature controlled transportation market, lead our organization to focus on industrial and refrigerated transportation vehicles components, which now represent a major part of the business of our company.
In order to meet the growing demand, handle the complex nature of the components, achieve standardization & provide customization, CBS expanded not only its plants & machineries but also its range of products, team members, production capacity and R&D department in 2018. CBS today operates in a 5500 sq.ft area with advanced machineries for production as well as for in-house tool & mould design, managed by a strong team of 8 core managerial staff and 20 workshop staff.

Equipped with a wide network of appropriate suppliers, numerous moulds and tools, and a substantial amount of technical designing backed by our professional staff assure advanced and superior efficiency of production. These specialized staff engaged in handling all the advanced equipment to fabricate almost all complex assemblies make it possible to obtain flexible production capacity and independent production procedures.
We’re continuously investing in facilities and technologies that allow us to manufacture the most cutting-edge components and assemblies to keep up with the ever-evolving business of commercial body fittings. In fact, over the past few years, we have largely benefited from a significant investment in both our people and systems. We have the capacity and expertise to handle small and large orders with utmost flexibility of delivering on time and at accessible prices. We have access to all the machinery for shearing, stamping, bending, surface finishing, welding, laser cutting & machining.
